Questions
Do I need any technical skills?
No. Your station builds itself; you get a login by email. Everything in the studio has a step-by-step guide, and your DJs get their own guided setup too.
How do my DJs broadcast live?
Any way they like: professional broadcast software (BUTT, Audio Hijack and friends), or straight from the built-in browser studio with its mixer, jingle wall and remote-guest support.
Can I use my own domain?
You start at yourname.staircaseradio.co. Custom domains are on the roadmap — get in touch and we'll help.
What about music licensing?
Licensing (PRS/PPL in the UK, or your local equivalent) is your responsibility as the broadcaster — same as with any radio platform.
What happens if I cancel?
Your subscription stops at the end of the billing period. We'll contact you about your content before anything is removed.
